We believe that when animals are used for food or fibre production that we have a moral responsibility to ensure they are well cared for.

Established over eight years ago, we have developed a reputation for providing well-thought-out veterinary science support to the Australian livestock industries.

We bring veterinary scientific expertise, broad Australian livestock experience and networks, creative thinking and our passion for the health and welfare of animals to each of our projects.

Areas of Expertise


Pathology & IMMUNOLOGY

Dr Joan Lloyd, our Principal Consultant, has a Masters Degree in Veterinary Pathology from the University of Sydney, as well as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She has also been awarded a PhD in Veterinary Immunology by the University of Sydney. Dr Lloyd has worked in veterinary pathology and parasitology research and diagnostic laboratories servicing the Australian livestock industries, and has experience developing and implementing both cell-mediated and antibody-based tests within these settings.

Dr Lloyd's research interests include immunology and infectious and parasitic diseases of domestic ruminants.

RESEARCH

We have extensive experience conducting and managing research projects and programmes for the Australian livestock industries, government and the veterinary pharmaceutical industry.

We can help you design and implement your next animal health or welfare research project.

We can also help you manage a large, multi-faceted research programme spread across several research institutions.

Training

Our team has experience developing and delivering training to university and technical college students, veterinarians and livestock industry personnel.
