Established in 2008, we have developed a reputation for providing well-thought-out veterinary science support to the Australian livestock industries.

research

We have extensive experience conducting and managing research projects and programmes for the Australian livestock industries, government and the veterinary pharmaceutical industry.

We can help you design and implement your next animal health or welfare research project.

We can also help you manage a large, multi-faceted research programme spread across several research institutions.

Dr Joan Lloyd, our Principal Consultant, has a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Saskatchewan, as well as a Masters Degree in Veterinary Pathology from the University of Sydney. She has also been awarded a PhD in Veterinary Immunology and Virology by the University of Sydney. Dr Lloyd has worked in veterinary pathology research and diagnostic laboratories servicing the Australian livestock industries. She has also worked in research management roles with the Australian livestock industries.

Our team has experience developing and delivering training to university and technical college students, veterinarians and livestock industry personnel.

We recently developed and delivered training in Emergency Animal Disease Response to the Australian Red Meat Processing Industry. Learn more about the Emergency Animal Disease Response course.

Technical writing

We can help prepare technical publications, from content through to design. Examples of our recent publications include Is the Animal Fit to Process guides for the Australian Red Meat Processing industry, A Producers Guide to Sheep Husbandry Procedures and a Beyond the Bale article for Australian Wool Innovation on analgesics and anesthetics, including frequently asked questions.

An Australian Veterinary Journal article co-authored by our Principal Consultant, Dr Joan Lloyd, has been awarded the Most Commendable Paper published in the Australian Veterinary Journal 2019 by the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.
